Nominations will be taken until Nov 10th. Voting is to be done at our next meeting. Committees will also be formed to help with more specific duties and to help officers out.

"Figure 8 Racers Association Meeting - Friday November 13th"There is going to be another meeting for the new figure 8 racers association on Friday, November 13th to discuss an association name and elect officers and hopefully answer most of the questions anybody has. They are going to have the meeting at Rick and Angel Kriegel's Shop in Brooklyn, IA between 6:30 pm - 7:00 pm. The address is 3596 200th Street. If need further directions feel free to contact them at 641-522-5499. This meeting will be a potluck, so bring a dish of food to share with others and please also bring your own chairs.

"For Sale 1974 Chevy Monte Carlo Open Class Figure 8 Car" Justin Mueller is getting out of figure 8 racing. At least in open class. so he is selling his 1974 Chevy Monte Carlo. It was used to race for one season. It was a circle track car so it has a nice cage in it. Stock rebuilt 350/350 with Ford 9" 31 spline/mini spool 4.56, a pair of 12 ply Kerb kickers on big Ford rims, all new brakes up front, braided line ect..., detach wheel, window net, aluminum seat, gauges, tranny cooler, Crow 5pt harness, plated frame ect. He also has a steering quickner that he never installed that would go with the car. Now the bad news. In the last race the front end was hit hard enough to bend the front horns up and bend the center drag link. (A $40 dollar part from speedway.) So the steering is messed up. All it needs is that drag link, the front horns pulled back down or cut off and replaced and a power steering pump pulley.

Asking $700 for everything obo.

He may part things out if he can't get enough parts spoken for right away.
